As the first Gaucho practitioner to deliver open-fire cooking at the Vivid Festival, I combine scientific precision with the raw, untamed nature of the flame. From meat science to equipment innovation, my mission is to elevate the art of BBQ to its highest form.
Pampa Flame is Australia's first open fire BBQ school, based in Hunter Valley, NSW. Founded by Givago Garcia Tissot, a Brazilian-qualified veterinarian, chef and Gaucho practitioner, we teach the ancient South American tradition of asado and parrilla cooking to anyone who wants to learn the real way to cook over fire.
Our Open Fire BBQ Masterclass runs every month in Hunter Valley. You'll grill over real wood and charcoal, cook premium cuts including picanha, lamb and beef ribs, and sit down to an all-you-can-eat asado feast. No experience required. Small groups. Certificate included.
